ABSTRACT

This research aims to analyze the mediation and moderation models regarding the influence of work-life balance (WLB) on subjective well-being. Conducted at the Banda Aceh Tax Office (KPP Pratama Banda Aceh) with 101 employee respondents (using a census), the findings reveal several key insights. WLB positively impacts employees' satisfaction and subjective well-being, while job satisfaction also plays a role in enhancing subjective well-being. Notably, satisfaction serves as a partial mediator for the effect of WLB on subjective well-being. Furthermore, intrinsic motivation moderates the relationship between WLB and employees' satisfaction, strengthening this effect. In conclusion, the model for enhancing subjective well-being at KPP Pratama Banda Aceh relies on bolstering WLB, as well as increasing intrinsic motivation and satisfaction among employees.
